Your THOR electric scooter is covered by a limited manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the terms below.

    Warranty Period

Scooter and battery: 12 months from the original date of purchase.

    What the Warranty Covers

During the applicable warranty period, THOR will repair or replace, at its discretion, components found to have failed due to a manufacturing or material defect under normal use.

This may include faults affecting items such as the motor, controller, display, charging system and other electrical components where the failure is confirmed to be the result of a manufacturing defect.

    What Isn't Covered

The warranty does not cover damage or faults resulting from:

    • Normal wear and tear
    • Tyres, inner tubes, brake pads and other consumable parts
    • Punctures or tyre damage
    • Accidents, impact damage or misuse
    • Water damage caused by use outside the scooter's stated IPX4 rating
    • Overloading the scooter beyond the stated 120kg maximum rider weight
    • Incorrect charging or use of an unsuitable charger
    • Failure to follow the instructions in the user manual
    • Unauthorised modifications, repairs or dismantling
    • Cosmetic damage that does not affect normal operation
    • Damage caused during improper transportation or storage

    Battery Warranty

Rechargeable batteries naturally lose capacity over time. Gradual reduction in battery capacity through normal use is not considered a manufacturing defect.

The battery warranty covers premature failure caused by a confirmed manufacturing defect, rather than the normal loss of capacity over time.

Both current THOR models use a 36V 7.8Ah battery.

    Making a Warranty Claim

To make a claim, contact THOR customer support with:

    • Proof of purchase
    • Scooter model
    • Product or serial number
    • Description of the fault
    • Photographs or video where requested

Please don't dismantle or repair the scooter before contacting us, as unauthorised repair work may affect your warranty.

    Repairs & Replacement Parts

Where a valid warranty fault is confirmed, THOR may repair the scooter, supply replacement parts or replace the affected product depending on the nature of the fault.

Replacement parts or products may be new or equivalent replacement items.

    Your Consumer Rights

This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights as a consumer.
