These terms apply to orders placed for THOR products on this website. Please read them before placing an order.

1. About us

This website is operated by Philex Electronic Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 03391238. THOR is a brand of Philex Electronic Limited. Our registered office is Philex House, Kingfisher Wharf, London Road, Bedford, MK42 0NX, United Kingdom.

2. Who can buy

To place an order you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.

3. Our products

We aim to describe and show our products accurately. Colours and finishes may look slightly different on your screen from the product itself.

THOR scooters are designed for riders aged 16 and over, with a maximum rider weight of 120kg. You are responsible for using your scooter safely and in line with the law. In the UK it is currently illegal to ride a privately owned e-scooter on public roads, pavements, cycle lanes or bridleways. Privately owned e-scooters can be used on private land with the landowner's permission.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken using the methods offered at checkout. Please make sure your billing and contact details are complete and accurate.

5. Your order

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm that your order has been dispatched. If we cannot accept your order, we will tell you and refund any payment we have taken.

Pre-orders are charged when you place them. You can cancel a pre-order for a full refund at any time before it is dispatched.

6. Delivery

Delivery charges and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and on our Delivery page. Delivery dates are estimates unless we agree otherwise.

7. Cancellations and returns

If you buy online, you may have the right to cancel your order and return it. See our Returns & Refunds policy for details. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights if goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.

8. Guarantee

THOR scooters and their batteries come with a 12-month guarantee from the date of purchase, in addition to your statutory rights. See our Warranty & Support page for what is covered.

9. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory consumer rights.

We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made. If you are a consumer, we are not liable to you for any business losses.

10. Events outside our control

If an event outside our reasonable control delays or prevents us from meeting our obligations, we will let you know as soon as possible and take steps to reduce the impact.

11. Intellectual property

The THOR and Philex names, logos and the content of this website are protected by intellectual property rights and may not be used without our permission.

12. Your personal information

We use your personal information as described in our Privacy policy.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when you place your order will apply to that order.
